ACPS "Calendar Survey" open until 2/21

posted Feb 10, 2011, 5:56 PM by Chris Miller

The Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) division is looking at calendar options to better meet the instructional needs of students. Specifically, ACPS is considering pursuing a waiver from the Virginia School Board to allow the school system to open a week before Labor Day beginning with the school year 2011-12. Beginning a week early would add two student days and would allow breaks during the year for professional development and planning. We invite you to take a brief survey by clicking on the link below to indicate your thoughts about the proposal. The survey will close on February 21. Thank you for your assistance.
