GWMS 8th grader receives national recognition

Congratulations to Eliza Malakoff, a GW 8th grader, whose Reflections entry in the literature category, "A Pallette for Maia," received an Award of Excellence (2nd place) at the national level. The winners were chosen from hundreds of thousands of submissions from students across the nation who participated in this year’s program, the theme of which was “Together we can…” This is Eliza's second consecutive year of recognition at the National level for her Reflections entries.
