TAG Parent Workshop on May 19th at Minnie Howard

ACPS will hold a TAG Parent Workshop on May 19th at Minnie Howard.  Hardcopies of the attached flyers are being sent out to parents and students from the Elementary and Middle Schools this week.

All of Alexandria is invited to attend this half-day of activities and hear from ACPS officials and renown educational experts in a keynote address and five breakout sessions.  The keynote address - "The Unique Challenges of Being Gifted: How Parents and Families Can Help" - will be provided by Dr. Joy Davis, Author of Bright, Talented & Black: A Guide for Families of African American Gifted Learners.
