A Message from the President:
It’s another busy week at GW, as you can see from our upcoming dates!
Our January PTA featured the ACHS Program of Studies for 2024-25. Presentation slides will be posted to the PTA website. The ACHS Academic Information and Curriculum Night is Wednesday evening, 5:30-7:30pm in person, at ACHS. An updated program for the evening outlining all of the available sessions will be shared by Monday, January 22nd.
Last week, the PTA Executive Committee sent a letter to the School Board and Superintendent Dr. Kay-Wyatt, echoing Principal Vinson’s budget request for an additional full-time employee to afford GW the opportunity to hire a third dean of students. The letter will also be posted to the PTA website. The FY 2025 Budget Planning Presentation and ACPS Proposed 2025 Budget are included for your review.
GWMS PTA is hosting a teacher and staff appreciation breakfast this Friday, January 26h, and we need our bakers and shoppers to bake and shop! Lots of slots to fill on the sign-up, and food can be dropped off the day before. So easy!! Please contact Stephanie0627@icloud.com with any questions.
